Fast food consortium files metaverse trademarks

The company behind Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell recently filed numerous trademark applications for NFTs and metaverse products relating to the fast-food franchises.

You are most likely familiar with one of the following brands, KFC, Pizza Hut, or Taco Bell. These three brands are all fast food powerhouses, but another thing they all have in common is the fact that they are all under the same umbrella.

That umbrella is Yum! Brands, a leading franchise organization behind some of the worlds most popular restaurant chains. The company has exported their brands globally and are present in most major cities across the globe.

What this proves is that Yum! Brands have gotten their expansion and marketing strategies down to a science, and as the consortium enters the NFT and metaverse space, this might come in handy.

Fast food is finally entering the metaverse and NFT ecosystem, and when brands like Burger King, Mcdonald’s, Panda Express, and more began making moves to enter the metaverse, it became apparent that it was only a matter of time before the likes of KFC through Yum! Brands followed suit.
